SENIOR CONTROLS & INTEGRATION ENGINEER

About the role
Working at Intelcyx as a Controls Engineer, you will be given the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and skills in a fast-paced, safety-conscious manufacturing environment. In this vital role, you will be closely working with the customer for evaluating equipment connectivity, selecting the right hardware, ordering, installing, setting up and deploying the Intelycx platform. This is a highly collaborative role to work internally within Intelycx and with the customer to identify and right size the connectivity hardware to deliver a cost-effective solution.
This role will act as a consultant, customer evangelist and work hands-on to bring the platform online to realize rapid gain and value.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Investigate, plan, prepare quotes, and install and set up equipment with industrial standards.
Recommend equipment modifications (hardware and software) for connecting manufacturing equipment to the Intelycx platform.
Manage Projects with customers, schedule and plan as required, and work with the customer to ensure we follow up on the due dates.
Train customers on effective usage of Intelycx platform for rapid value capture.
Own the project with the customer and serve as customer success manager.
Support and perform continuous improvement activities as a control engineer and make recommendations for product enhancements and features.
Support to ensure the proper functioning of the platform.
Troubleshoot a variety of routine to moderately complex manufacturing equipment electrical and control system problems.
Create and modify troubleshooting, start-up, equipment setup documents, and other procedures.
Prepare and present a report with detailed root cause analysis and data.
Prepare training materials to train production and maintenance personnel on the usage and maintenance of Intelycx platform.
Desired Profile for this role
Bachelors degree in Electrical / Electronics engineering technology. Masters degree preferred.
Hands-on experience with programming / troubleshooting / maintaining of PLC / SCADA / DCS / HMI programs
Thorough understanding of PLC / SCADA / DCS / HMI systems and architecture and controls engineering.
Basic to good understanding of databases and data acquisition methods for industrial control systems.
5 plus years of experience in a manufacturing environment working on equipment connectivity, Industry 4.0 tools, etc.
Strong organizational and process orientation skills, exceptional verbal and written communication.
Experience working with large complex organizations.
The ability to communicate business and technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
